About Zachary Green

Early Life and Education

Born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, Zachary Green attended Roger Bacon High School, where he overcame severe ADHD and academic struggles. The Franciscan approach to discipline helped him recognize his ADHD as a strength—an ability to be an energetic multi-tasker. He later received the Spartan Award as a distinguished alumnus. Recently, Roger Bacon High School honored him with a mural showcasing his accomplishments to inspire future generations of students.

At Bowling Green State University, Zachary served as president of Sigma Phi Epsilon, earning a degree in Sport Management and Marketing. He secured internships with the NFL’s  Los Angeles Raiders and a sports marketing firm, working on projects for the 1996 Olympic Games and worked with World Cup Team USA soccer goalie Tony Meola.

Military and Firefighting Service

After a year on active duty with the Marines, Zachary continued his service to the country in the Marine Corps Reserve while attending Bowling Green State University. He later graduated top of his class from Officer Candidate School in Quantico, Virginia. In addition to his military service, he dedicated himself to protecting his community as a volunteer firefighter.  Zachary served in the U.S. Marine Corps as a Fire Direction Control Man for 81mm mortars with 1/24th Weapons Company, gaining valuable leadership and crisis management skills that he also applied in his role as a firefighter.

Veteran Advocacy and Leadership Development

Zachary Green and Lt. Col. Oliver Stolley have been best friends since fourth grade, where they forged lifelong bonds rooted in patriotism and a deep commitment to military service. This drive and purpose have never wavered, even after four decades. Today, as Oliver concludes a distinguished 30+ year career with the U.S. Army, finishing his last assignment at the Pentagon, the two have reunited to help fellow veterans find purpose after transitioning out of the military.

Through their new venture, WARRIOR Enterprises LLC, they work with veterans to continue serving their country by mentoring the next generation of leaders through the WARRIOR Academe leadership programs. These programs include immersive virtual reality historic battlefield workshops and AI-driven leadership training, connecting timeless lessons from history to modern-day business challenges.

Zachary and Oliver are dedicated to empowering veterans by providing opportunities to teach leadership in corporate, government, and military sectors. Through their innovative programs, they help veterans rediscover a sense of purpose, ensuring that their service extends beyond the battlefield and into shaping the leaders of tomorrow.

Continued Service to the Marines

As a board member of the Parris Island Museum Historical Foundation and a proud member of the Share the Legacy program, Zachary speaks weekly to the entire graduating series of Marines about the lifelong commitment to Honor, Courage, and Commitment.

Zachary is also an active participant in the Living History Detachment, where he portrays WWI Marines in period-authentic uniform, gear, and weapons, marches with recruits for the last few miles of the Crucible, and takes part in the Eagle, Globe, and Anchor Ceremony. He marches alongside recruits during the final miles of the Crucible—a grueling 54-hour test that includes food and sleep deprivation, over 45 miles of marching, and intense physical and mental challenges. This transformative experience culminates in the sacred Eagle, Globe, and Anchor Ceremony, where recruits officially earn the title of Marine.

Additionally, Zachary owns the Teufelhunden Tavern, a private speakeasy and museum in Hilton Head Island, SC   featuring one of the most extensive U.S. Marine WWI memorabilia collections. Learn more at www.teufelhundentavern.com.

Through leadership development, veteran advocacy, and historical preservation, Zachary Green remains committed to empowering leaders and honoring those who serve.
